About This Update

IntenseLED cameras already offer industry-leading low-light performance. This firmware adds AI-driven motion logic so the powerful LED only switches on when activity is detected—ideal if you have nearby neighbours.

Is This Upgrade Right for You?

  • You have some ambient light at night (e.g. street lights) and prefer colour images without the LED always on.
  • You want the LED to illuminate only when motion is detected.

If your site is in complete darkness, keep the factory LED setting and do not install this firmware.

Before You Begin

  1. Complete the initial setup by following the System’s Main Instruction Booklet.
  2. Confirm each camera is online and visible on your recorder.
  3. Prepare a blank USB drive formatted to FAT32.

Step 1 – Download & Unzip the Firmware Package

  1. Click the button below to download RV1126_IMX415_BASE_W_K300025657_25.1.18.3.zip to your computer.

  2. Locate the file you just downloaded:
    • Windows: open File Explorer → Downloads.
    • Mac: open Finder → Downloads.
  3. Unzip (extract) the file:
    • Windows: right-click the .zip and choose Extract All….
    • Mac: double-click the .zip or Control-click and select Open With → Archive Utility.
    • A new folder will appear containing RV1126_IMX415_BASE_W_K300025657_25.1.18.3.FLS.
  4. Verify the file now ends with .FLS (it is no longer a .zip).
  5. Copy (or drag) that .FLS file onto your blank USB drive (do not place it inside any folders).

Step 2 – Upgrade the Cameras

  1. Plug the USB drive into the recorder.
  2. Open Configuration > Camera > IPC Upgrade.
  3. Select the firmware file and click Next.
  4. Select one camera at a time and click Upgrade.
  5. Wait three minutes until the camera returns to live view.
  6. Repeat for remaining cameras.

Step 3 – Enable Intelligent LED Switching

  1. Go to Configuration > Camera > Image Setting.
  2. Select the upgraded camera channel.
  3. Under Day & Night, set Day/Night Switch to Auto.
  4. Open Configuration > Event > Normal Event > Motion.
  5. Tick Enable, click Full Screen, then Apply.
  6. Repeat for each camera.

Face Detection Data

Our cameras come with smart face detection features. Face detection data exist only on your device and can be deleted at any time. It does not go anywhere else. Face detection features can be turned off at any time.

Video Footage

Your security footage is protected by your password and cannot be accessed without it. Once you have changed the default password of the device, only manufacturer can reset it, after confirmation of purchase and identity.

Audio Data

Audio recording can be turned on and off if the camera is equipped with a microphone. It cannot be accessed without your password.

App Access

One device can link up with a single mobile app account. However, you may share it with another account and cease sharing at any time.
